FTTP uses fibre to the premises which is a data only service. This means, it has a wall socket that you cannot connect a standard phone to. In order to connect a telephone you will need to subscribe to a Voice Over IP service (VOIP). You can either use a traditional phone or a VOIP phone. If you wish to use a traditional phone, you will need a VOIP router or a 'Telephone Internet Adapter'. If you have an existing landline number, we can transfer it to VOIP. When we do this, your existing landline ceases.
